- Contact our support team at [email protected] or call 1-800-555-VELO with your order number and a description of the issue.
- Provide documentation including photographs or video of the defect, your original order confirmation, and the date of installation.
- Our team will review your claim within 5 business days and may request additional information or arrange for an on-site inspection for Commercial products.

Warranty Remedies
If a valid warranty claim is approved, Velora will provide one of the following remedies:
- Replacement: We will provide replacement film of the same product type and dimensions at no cost. Shipping for warranty replacements within the continental United States is covered by Velora.
- Repair: For Commercial installations, Velora may elect to dispatch a certified technician to repair the installation on-site at no cost.
- Refund: In cases where replacement or repair is not feasible, Velora may issue a prorated refund based on the remaining warranty period.

Transferability
This warranty is transferable to subsequent owners of the property where the Velora product is installed, provided that the new owner notifies Velora in writing within 30 days of the property transfer. The warranty terms and remaining coverage period carry over to the new owner. Frequently Asked Questions
Below are answers to the most common warranty questions we receive. If your question is not listed here, please contact our warranty team directly.
Your warranty period begins on the date of purchase as shown on your order confirmation email. To verify your coverage status, contact our warranty team at [email protected] with your order number. We will confirm your warranty expiration date and the type of coverage that applies to your product.
Yes, self-installation does not automatically void your warranty. However, the warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation. If you followed our published installation guidelines and the issue is related to a defect in materials or workmanship, your claim will be honored. We recommend documenting your installation process with photos for your records.
Switching failure across any portion of the film is covered under warranty. Contact us with photos or a short video showing the affected area, your order number, and the approximate date the issue first appeared. Our team will assess whether the defect qualifies for a replacement.
We review all claims within 5 business days of receiving the required documentation. If approved, replacement film for Standard and Ultra-Clear products typically ships within 3 to 5 business days. For Commercial products requiring on-site service, scheduling depends on your location and technician availability, but we aim to complete service within 10 business days of approval.
For Standard and Ultra-Clear products, the warranty covers the replacement film and shipping, but not the labor cost of removing the old film and installing the replacement. For Commercial products with the extended warranty, on-site service including reinstallation is included at no additional charge.
Yes, the warranty is transferable. The previous owner (or their representative) must notify us in writing within 30 days of the property transfer. Once the transfer is registered, you receive the remaining coverage under the original warranty terms. Contact [email protected] with the original order number and your contact details to initiate the transfer.
Controllers and power supplies carry a separate 2-year warranty covering defects in materials. If your controller fails within that period, we will replace it at no cost. If the controller is out of warranty, replacement units are available for purchase through our website or by contacting our support team.
At this time, we do not offer extended warranty plans for purchase. However, Velora Commercial products include a 7-year extended warranty as standard. If you are a Velora partner or have a multi-unit installation, contact our sales team to discuss custom coverage options that may be available for your project.
Minor changes in appearance over several years of use may fall within normal wear. However, significant yellowing, clouding, or optical degradation that was not caused by external factors (such as chemical exposure or excessive UV without proper glass protection) is covered under warranty. If you are unsure, send us photos and we will evaluate whether the discoloration qualifies for a warranty claim.
Using a non-Velora controller does not automatically void the warranty on the film itself. However, any damage to the film caused by incompatible voltage, incorrect wiring, or power surges from third-party equipment is not covered. We strongly recommend using Velora-approved controllers to ensure full compatibility and uninterrupted warranty coverage.
