Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Velora website, purchasing Velora products, or engaging our installation services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use our services.

Velora Inc. ("Velora," "we," "us," or "our") reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered customers of material changes via email. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Products and Services

Velora manufactures and sells switchable PDLC (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal) smart privacy film and related accessories. Our products include, but are not limited to:

  • Velora Standard switchable privacy film
  • Velora Ultra-Clear premium privacy film
  • Velora Commercial enterprise-grade solutions
  • Velora Sample Kit
  • Controllers, power supplies, and installation accessories

Product descriptions, specifications, and images on our website are provided for informational purposes and are as accurate as reasonably possible. Slight variations in color, opacity, and finish may occur between product images and actual delivered products due to differences in displays, lighting, and manufacturing tolerances.

3. Orders and Pricing

All prices listed on our website are in United States Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without prior notice. Pricing for custom orders is calculated based on the dimensions and product tier selected through our Window Film Calculator.

Placing an order through our website constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion. An order is confirmed only when payment has been successfully processed and you receive an order confirmation.

For Velora Commercial projects, pricing is provided on a custom-quote basis. Commercial quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

4. Payment Terms

We accept payment via major credit cards and other methods available through our payment processor, Stripe. All transactions are processed securely, and we do not store your full payment card information on our servers.

Sales tax will be calculated and applied at checkout where required by applicable law. You are responsible for any additional taxes, duties, or import fees that may apply to orders shipped outside the continental United States.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Sample Kits ship within 2 business days of order confirmation and include free standard shipping within the continental United States. Custom film orders are cut to your specifications and typically ship within 5 to 10 business days.

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Velora is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather events, customs processing, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier. Please inspect all packages upon receipt and report any damage or discrepancies within 48 hours of delivery.

6. Sample Kit Credit Program

Customers who purchase a Velora Sample Kit ($99) are eligible for a $99 credit toward their first custom film order. This credit is applied automatically at checkout when the same email address is used for both purchases.

The Sample Kit credit is non-transferable, cannot be combined with other promotions (unless explicitly stated), and must be redeemed within 12 months of the original Sample Kit purchase date. The credit has no cash value and cannot be refunded.

7. Returns and Refunds

Because our custom film products are cut to your specific dimensions, custom orders are non-refundable and non-returnable unless the product is defective or was damaged during shipping.

Sample Kits may be returned within 30 days of delivery in their original, unopened condition for a full refund. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

To initiate a return or report a defective product, please contact our support team at [email protected] with your order number and a description of the issue. We will respond within 2 business days.

8. Installation Disclaimer

Velora products are designed for professional installation. While we provide installation guides and instructional materials, improper installation may void the product warranty and could result in reduced performance or damage.

Velora is not liable for any damage, injury, or product failure resulting from improper installation, modification, or use of our products in a manner inconsistent with our published guidelines. For Velora Commercial projects, we offer on-site installation services performed by certified technicians.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Velora website, including text, graphics, logos, images, product designs, and software, is the property of Velora Inc. or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or publicly display any content from our website without prior written consent from Velora Inc. The Velora name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Velora Inc.

10. Partner Program

Participation in the Velora Partner Program is subject to application approval. Approved partners receive a unique referral code and earn commissions on qualifying orders placed using their code.

Commission rates are determined by partner tier and are subject to change with 30 days' notice. Commissions are paid on completed, non-refunded orders only. Velora reserves the right to terminate any partner account for fraudulent activity, misrepresentation, or violation of these Terms.

Partners may not use paid advertising that bids on Velora-branded keywords or create content that could be confused with official Velora communications without prior written approval.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Velora Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of our products or services.

Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Francisco, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.
